{"id":881,"date":"2017-03-06T04:30:35","date_gmt":"2017-03-06T04:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unser-sabbatjahr.de\/wordpress\/?p=881"},"modified":"2017-03-05T12:10:23","modified_gmt":"2017-03-05T12:10:23","slug":"restewandern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sabbatjahr.botilicious.de\/?p=881","title":{"rendered":"Restewandern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Da unser bisheriges Zeitmanagement so gut geklappte hatte und wir quasi alles abgehakt hatten, was auf unserer To-do-Liste stand, hatten wir jetzt noch zwei Puffertage frei zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n<p>Was also tun mit so viel Freizeit?<\/p>\n<p>Weil wir bisher ja noch nicht so viel Auto gefahren sind, entschlossen wir uns noch mal nach Westen zu fahren um ein paar Glowworms und H\u00f6hlen zu begutachten. Aber nicht, ohne vorher eine sch\u00f6ne kleine Morgenwanderung zu den Blue Springs zu unternehmen. \u00dcber den Te Waihou Walkway gings es 5 km lang den Bach bergauf zu den Quellen. Denn in Otorohanga entdeckten wir zuf\u00e4llig im Vorbeifahren das Kiwi-House. Eine Zuchtstation f\u00fcr die vom Aussterben bedrohten Kiwis und weiterer bedrohter Arten.<\/p>\n<p>Aber zuerst zu den Glowworms :). Da es schon etwas sp\u00e4ter war und wir auch keine sonderlich gro\u00dfe Lust auf eine gef\u00fchrte Tour durch die Waitomo Caves hatten, zogen wir selber los auf dem Ruakuri Bushwalk. Wie der Name schon sagt, f\u00fchrt der Weg durch den Urwald hindurch hin zu einer unterirdischen Aussichtsplatform in einer der Glowworm Caves. Die gute Nachricht ist: Wir konnten wirklich waschechte lebende Kiwis sehen. Die schlechte Nachricht (f\u00fcr euch) ist: Man durfte keine Fotos machen. Da die Kiwis ausschlie\u00dflich nachtaktive Tiere sind leben sie in Dunkelkammern mit einem umgekehrten Tageszyklus. Jedes Jahr werden auf dieser Station mehrere Kiwis gebohren und ausgewildert.<\/p>\n<div id=\"atwkslider-test-4\" class=\"atwkslider atwkslider-test slider-content-images\"><div
